DOCTORS AT THE VERY DOORSTEP
IN COKOT VILLAGE

 Checking the health of the population in the countryside, at their homes, which was organized by the Health Center in Nis, in cooperation with the Palilula Municipality within the action "Coming close to the patients," during the last week (October 25) was carried out in Cokot village. 29 examinations were done of the patients in the homes, said Aleksandar Ždrale, Deputy President of the Palilula Municipal Assembly. The doctors provided the following services: medical history taking, clinical examination, ECG at home, blood sugar check and giving medical advice regarding the treatment of chronic diseases.

HONORS TO FALLEN FREEDOM VICTIMS

 On the occasion of the commemoration of the 71 years of the liberation of Nis in WW 2 - at the Square `Kralj Milan` , the delegation of the City, City Municipalities, associations of war veterans, military, police, civil society organizations, laid wreaths and flowers at the Monument to the Liberators of Nis and then at the Memorial park "Bubanj" for the victims of fascist terror. A tribute to the liberators of Nis, in the name of Palilula paid also Boban Džunić, president of the Municipality and Aleksandar Zdrale, vice president of the Assembly. In the memorial park "Bubanj" flowers were laid by Alexander Zdrale and Sasa Matic, vice presidentr of Palillula.

"SPORTS ZONES" CONNECT PALILULA
AND BERKOVICA

 Thanks to a partnership on the project "Establishment of sports areas in the municipalities of Palilula and Berkowica," residents of the two cities in Serbia and Bulgaria got valuable sports centers - "sports zones" for recreation and gathering of young people. Investments worth around 760,000 euros, are realized in the framework of the IPA fund and EU support. The stadium and sports center in Berkovica were opened by the presidents of these partner municipalities in the presence of Bulgarian Prime Minister.
